Kaleb Barnum shines in First World Cup

Kaleb Barnum from Fernie and a member of the Canadian Ski Cross Team (NEXTGEN), made an impressive debut at the World Cup circuit in Idre Fjall, Sweden. Competing against some of the world’s best, Barnum placed 30th overall, a commendable achievement for his first start on such a prestigious platform.

This milestone comes after a challenging start to the season for Barnum, who overcame significant injuries, including a concussion, torn rotator cuff, and lower back injury sustained in a crash with a Swiss competitor during a European Cup race on February 6 in Les Contamines, France.
