Kaleb Barnum

I am a member of the Canadian National Ski Cross Team (Next Gen). My winters are spent training and racing throughout North America and Europe. In the summer, morning training sessions are spent with the team at Canada’s Olympic Park gym. Afternoons, I attend the University of Calgary, working on my degree in Biomechanics, evenings I teach swimming and lifeguard.

WHAT IS SKI CROSS:

Ski cross is a high-speed, head-to-head skiing competition where four skiers race down a course featuring jumps, rollers, and banked turns. It combines elements of alpine and freestyle skiing, and is known for its exciting and action-packed racing. The sport made its Olympic debut at the 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver-Whistler.
